Occupy Madison began at Reynold's Park in October 2011, where 200 or so Madisonians got together on a beautiful autumn evening. We were students, activists, academics, radicals, and concerned citizens joined together in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street.
As a precursor to Occupy Madison, in February 2011 hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites converged on Madison to protest Governor Walker's union busting bill.
