It takes a village to complete the Village

Occupy Madison’s Village started as a dream about a place where unhoused people could find safety and dignity, living in 99 square foot Tiny Houses and being in community.

Back then, we assumed we’d have to build all the Tiny Houses ourselves.

LaFollette High School students proved us wrong.

The students recently delivered the 7th Tiny House they built to OM Village.

Now our challenge is to “complete the Village” – to raise the funds to finish necessary construction and remodeling of our main building.  Until we do that, we can’t move more people off the streets and into their new Tiny Home.

You can help us complete the Village with your tax-deductible donation.

Your donation, at whatever, makes a difference.  It takes a village to complete the Village!
